Purpose of the position

The intern supports the Training and Talent Development team in its day-to-day activities and contributes to providing employees with a positive experience. They take part in various administrative tasks and projects related to training and talent development while expanding their knowledge of human resources.

Key responsibilities

Support the team in managing the department’s email inbox and ticketing system and respond to employee requests with guidance from the team.

Help ensure a seamless learning experience during virtual and online training sessions.

Prepare and format various documents, such as memos, invitations, surveys, and internal communications.

Review and translate selected documents into French and English.

Assist with the administration of the internal learning management system (LMS), including creating courses, enrolling participants, monitoring access, updating data, and producing completion reports.

Support the team in tracking training records and compliance with Quebec’s Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition (commonly known as the 1% Training Law) across the company.

Assist with tuition reimbursement requests and update training calendars, PowerPoint presentations, and various tracking tools.

Collaborate on various projects and initiatives related to training, talent development, and human resources.

Perform any other related duties that support the team’s activities.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a program related to human resources, administration, management, or a related field.

Good command of the Microsoft Office suite.

Bilingual in French and English (communications with employees across Canada and documents in both languages).
