BOXX Modular rents, leases and sells temporary and permanent modular buildings, including standard buildings ready for immediate delivery and custom-designed solutions. We work with our customers to design and deliver customized solutions, and provide additional services such as delivery and installation, furniture rentals and other add-ons.

BOXX Modular is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Representative to join our team in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

This is an opportunity for a relationship-builder and business developer who loves being out in the market, uncovering opportunities, winning new business, and becoming a trusted partner to customers.

In this role, you’ll own a defined territory and play a key part in growing sales, strengthening customer relationships, and maximizing revenue and profitability. You’ll work with customers across industries including construction, energy, education, mining, government, military, healthcare, and more - no two days will look exactly the same.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales professional who loves the thrill of the hunt - and the satisfaction of turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Do

Identify, call on, and build strong, lasting relationships with key customers across construction, energy, education, mining, government, military, healthcare, and other industries, positioning BOXX Modular as a preferred vendor and trusted partner.
Proactively research and identify new business opportunities through industry journals and reports, networking, cold calling, and other creative sales strategies to build your pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets.
Handle incoming sales calls and walk-in business when there is not an Inside Sales Representative at the branch, providing responsive and exceptional customer service.
Build and demonstrate strong product knowledge, including key competitive product lines, to effectively position BOXX Modular solutions and provide valuable technical sales and service support to customers throughout the territory.
Respond to, evaluate, document, and resolve product inquiries and issues in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
Obtain the appropriate approvals for sales and rental contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
Prepare competitive quotations and contracts that meet client needs and position BOXX Modular for success, while adhering to the Company’s pricing, credit, and payment policies.
Provide timely written and verbal communication on competitive activity, market conditions, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to help drive informed sales strategies.
Track and communicate sales and rental activity against targets to the Branch Sales Manager, including maintaining accurate, up-to-date customer profiles and sales and rental contract documentation in Salesforce CRM.
Complete daily sales paperwork and contract documentation while maintaining organized and accurate files for all leads, opportunities, and projects.
Proactively follow up with customers after sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and quickly resolve any concerns or complaints.
Follow up on the collection of customer payments, helping to ensure timely and successful account management.
Manage, track, and submit operational and business development expenditures to the Branch Manager in a timely and accurate manner.

What You Bring

Post-secondary education, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of sales experience selling into industries such as construction, education, energy, government, or military.
Proven success in full-cycle sales and business development, with sales cycles ranging from one week to one year.
Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
Rental sales experience is a strong asset.
Experience in the modular structures industry is a strong asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions.
A self-directed, flexible, and proactive approach to your work.
Comfortable working in a growing, changing, and dynamic environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
A valid driver’s license is required.
