Original job description

Operational Excellence: the engine behind our performance

Behind every successful BPA project are solid ways of working, high-performing tools and teams that keep building their expertise. That is the mission of the Operational Excellence team: it supports all our offices across Canada to align our practices, evolve our processes and tools, and develop our employees’ skills.

It Leads Two Flagship Programs

UniversiT, our internal training centre, which helps our teams build their technical and professional skills throughout their careers.
Our mentorship program, which pairs experienced professionals with developing talent to support knowledge transfer and everyone’s growth.

The opportunity

Do you enjoy coordinating initiatives that make an impact across an entire organization? Do you have a flair for communications and a passion for promoting programs that help people grow? As Operational Excellence Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of the action. You’ll coordinate Operational Excellence initiatives, promote our programs internally and externally, and support teams through change, working closely with senior leadership and corporate services.

Your day-to-day impact

Communications

Coordinate the planning and delivery of Operational Excellence internal communications (Teams, SharePoint, newsletters, short videos) in collaboration with the Communications and Marketing team.
Write clear, engaging, easy-to-understand content that drives buy-in for new processes, tools and ways of working.
Identify and engage the right stakeholders at the right time, and act as a link between teams, leadership and corporate services.
Keep the Operational Excellence activity and communications calendar up to date.
Suggest improvements to how we communicate internally, based on team feedback.
Help promote UniversiT and the mentorship program externally, with the Talent and Communications and Marketing teams.

Training

Coordinate the logistics and follow-up of UniversiT and mentorship program activities.
Act as the go-to person for our learning management system (LMS): upload and structure learning paths, support users and track registrations.
Keep training and skills development documentation up to date.
Produce simple tracking and indicators (participation, satisfaction) to measure the impact of training.
Support the development of external partnerships in technical training.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in communications, administration, organizational development or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience, including 1 to 3 years coordinating communications or programs.
Experience in training, change management or internal communications is an asset.
Full proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.*
Good knowledge of Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel) and comfort with Copilot and AI tools. Knowledge of an LMS and Canva is an asset.
Strong writing skills, analytical and synthesis skills, and the ability to simplify information and present recommendations to leadership.
A structured, rigorous approach, influence without authority, a collaborative mindset and a sense of initiative.
Proficiency in English is required to support our activities across Canada and our collaboration with our teams and external partners in other provinces.

Build your career with us and enjoy…

A culture built on collaboration, knowledge sharing, talent development, and the quality of our work.
A 37.5-hour workweek with flexible scheduling and the possibility of finishing at noon on Fridays.
A hybrid work policy that promotes balance between professional and personal life.
Overtime hours that are recognized and compensated, either through time off in lieu or paid compensation.
A competitive total compensation package, including a market-driven salary, a comprehensive group insurance plan, and an RRSP program with employer contributions.
A structured training and professional development program supported by UniversiT, our internal entity dedicated to the technical and personal growth of every employee.
A structured Mentorship Program that connects early-career professionals with experienced mentors to kick-start your BPA career.
Cutting-edge technology, including BIM and modern collaborative tools.
The “Finding Balance” program, which promotes overall well-being, mental health, and sustainable productivity.

We are committed to the principles of employment equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility across all our offices in Canada. We encourage applications from women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in any stage of the selection process.

Thank you for your interest in joining our team. Please note that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by the Talent team.
