Original job description
BPA is growing fast, with more than 300 hires a year across Canada. To support this growth, we are building a high-performing, strategic and ambitious Talent team, and we are looking for an experienced Talent Business Partner to be one of its pillars.
Here, you do more than fill roles: you advise leaders, build attraction strategies, help the people around you grow and contribute to the organization’s major HR initiatives.
Your role
You act as a strategic partner to several client groups across our offices in Canada. You work in tandem with a Talent Advisor, whom you support and coach day to day.
Talent acquisition
- Advise managers and leaders on their talent acquisition strategies and hiring decisions.
- Lead the full recruitment cycle, from intake to offer.
- Develop sourcing and headhunting strategies for specialized and strategic roles.
- Build talent pipelines to anticipate future needs.
- Analyze the job market and recommend tailored attraction strategies.
- Mentor and develop your Talent Advisor.
- Share your best practices and help raise the bar for the entire Talent team.
- Take part in performance round tables and calibrations.
- Contribute to initiatives such as career paths, employer branding and the improvement of our processes and tools.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to deliver a consistent employee experience.
- 7 to 9+ years of experience in talent acquisition, strategic recruitment or headhunting.
- Experience in an advisory role with managers, ideally in a multi-site or professional services environment.
- Strong command of sourcing and headhunting (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, etc.).
- The ability to influence, build trusted relationships and coach others.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written*.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field; CHRP/CRHA designation is an asset.
- Proficiency in English and French is required to support our Canada-wide operations and collaboration with our teams and clients across other provinces.
- enjoy solving complex recruitment challenges and reaching out to top talent rather than waiting for applications;
- want to grow beyond recruitment: coaching, HR projects and strategy;
- want your ideas to make a real impact.
- A team in the making, where you have room to leave your mark and shape how we work.
- A leadership role, with a Talent Advisor by your side so you can focus on what has the most impact.
- A national mandate, working with leaders across several provinces and disciplines.
- Exposure to major HR projects: calibrations, career paths and employer branding.
- Real balance: a 37.5-hour week, flexible hybrid work and shorter Friday afternoons.
- A human, agile organization where your expertise is truly valued.
We are committed to the principles of employment equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility across all our offices in Canada. We encourage applications from women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in any stage of the selection process.
Thank you for your interest in joining our team. Please note that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted by the Talent team.
