About BrainRidge

BrainRidge Consulting is a premium FinTech Technology Consulting firm with the energy of a startup and experience of an enterprise. With a mission to empower financial institutions and organizations to thrive in the digital age, we provide cutting-edge technology solutions and strategic guidance to drive innovation and growth. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Amazon Connect Developer.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Amazon Connect Developer to design, build, and scale cloud contact centre solutions on Amazon Connect for our financial services clients. You'll work with client stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to turn customer engagement goals into contact flows, integrations, and agent experiences that perform reliably in production. This role suits someone who enjoys working where AWS development, contact centre technology, and customer experience design meet. Our Maritimes office is located in Moncton, New Brunswick. This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, with occasional in-office days as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain contact flows, IVRs, and voice and chat experiences tailored to client customer journeys.
  • Develop Lambda-based integrations and customizations using the Amazon Connect APIs.
  • Build outbound campaigns and use Customer Profiles to create a unified, personalized view of each customer.
  • Build custom applications and embed workflows into the Amazon Connect Agent Workspace.
  • Connect Amazon Connect to CRMs, ticketing systems, and core business applications through AppIntegrations.
  • Implement Contact Lens for real-time and post-contact analytics, sentiment analysis, and quality management.
  • Implement caller authentication and fraud prevention controls suited to regulated environments.
  • Deliver omnichannel support that gives customers a consistent experience across voice, chat, and digital channels.
  • Provision, configure, and scale Amazon Connect instances in line with AWS best practices.
  • Test, deploy, and support solutions in production, and troubleshoot issues across flows, integrations, and agent applications.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience developing on Amazon Connect within AWS.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, or Python for API integrations and Lambda development.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience delivering in Agile teams and collaborating across business and technical groups.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Amazon Connect APIs, Customer Profiles, outbound campaigns, and Agent Workspace development.
  • Experience with AppIntegrations, Contact Lens, and caller authentication.
  • Experience in banking, insurance, or other regulated financial services environments, and consulting or client-facing delivery experience, is an asset.
  • Exposure to generative AI in the contact centre (Amazon Q in Connect, Amazon Lex, or Amazon Bedrock) and AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Our Commitment

At BrainRidge Consulting, we value and prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace leads to a more innovative and productive team. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to providing a safe, fair, and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
