Merchandiser - Permanent Role
Part-time: 3 days / Week
Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (9 am - 5 pm)
Rate: $23 / HR
Start Date: October 23rd

We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of part-time Merchandiser (24 hours per week) for the North Calgary, Airdrie and Cochrane Territory.

Key Responsibilities:
As a member of our Team, the successful candidate will be supporting the Sales team, and merchandising ongoing sales plans in addition to the flawless execution of Key Account Initiatives (KAI) including marketing and sales promotions at the store level. The candidate will be calling on Drug, Grocery, Mass, and Department retail outlets.
Qualifications:
- Sales and merchandising experience in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry preferred
- Experience with Companion Rep preferred
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- A self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Prefer the opportunity to work in a part-time position
- Reside in the proximity of the designated territory
- A valid driver's license, exclusive access to a vehicle, and the ability to lift 50 pounds
- Capable of repetitive activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, walking, squatting, and lifting continuously

Responsibilities
Support the Sales team by carrying out ongoing sales plans and executing key account initiatives, including in-store marketing and sales promotions. Visit drug, grocery, mass-market, and department-store retail outlets across the assigned territory.
Requirements
Consumer packaged goods sales or merchandising experience and Companion Rep experience are preferred; proficiency in Word and Excel, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also sought. Candidates must live near the territory, have a valid driver's license and exclusive access to a vehicle, and be able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical activities.
