Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic

Pro North Repair Ltd. - St. Albert, AB

Full-Time | Flexible Schedule | Competitive Compensation

Looking for a Better Shop Environment?

If you're an experienced Heavy Duty Journeyman Mechanic who's tired of dealership pressure, constant customer demands, flat-rate expectations, or working on equipment you've never seen before, this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.

At Pro North Repair, you'll work in a small, low-stress, two-mechanic shop maintaining and repairing our own fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment. We do not service the public, and we are not a dealership. There are no customer complaints, no service advisors pushing work, and no pressure to upsell repairs.

Just quality mechanical work, a flexible schedule, and a team that values experience and common sense.

What Makes This Position Different?

Work on Company-Owned Equipment Only

You'll be maintaining equipment that belongs to our operation. You'll get to know the fleet, understand its history, and take pride in keeping it running reliably.

Flexible Hours

We understand that experienced mechanics value flexibility. We offer the ability to help shape your work schedule and start times to support a healthy work-life balance.

Small Shop Environment

This is a two-mechanic shop where your knowledge and experience matter. You'll have the independence to do your job without unnecessary bureaucracy or micromanagement.

Low-Stress Workplace

No public customers. No service desk. No dealership politics. No pressure to sell work.

Just honest repairs, preventative maintenance, and keeping equipment in top condition.

Why Join Pro North Repair?

We're looking for a mechanic who wants more than just another shop job.

This is an opportunity to work in a professional but relaxed environment where you're trusted to do what you do best. You'll spend your time working on equipment that belongs to the company, alongside a small team that values reliability, craftsmanship, and practical problem-solving.

If you're looking for a long-term position with flexibility, independence, and far less stress than a dealership or public repair shop, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and join a company that respects experienced mechanics and the important work they do.
