Receiver

Brandt Industries Canada Ltd is currently seeking a Receiver for our Regina, SK location.

The Receiver is responsible for managing incoming materials to support accurate inventory and efficient shop flow. This role receives and verifies deliveries and enters purchase orders into the manufacturing system. The Receiver also organizes materials into their designated locations and identifies back orders as needed. They work closely with Production Planning and shop personnel to support smooth operations and may perform additional duties as required.

What You Will Be Responsible For 

• Receiving duties which will include receiving materials into the manufacturing system, record and identify back orders and disperse accordingly. 
• Receiving deliveries. 
• Offloading materials using forklift. 
• Counting delivered material, checking for accuracy against packing slips. 
• Putting materials away in their respective locations. 
• Receiving PO’s into the system. 
• Inspecting certain aspects of incoming shipments for quality. 
• Assist Production Planning, Supervisors and lead hands as required. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

What We Look For 

• Communication Skills, Oral & Written. 
• Working experience in a Receiving role preferred. 
• Basic mathematical skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck. 
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. 
• Accuracy is a must. 
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.  
• Good organizational, time management and ability to multi-task. 
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. 
• Physically fit and has the ability to lift or move up to 50lbs.
