Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the perioperative program and must meet the following criteria:

Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Mandatory Qualifications

Current two (2) years experience in a Surgical or Day Surgery setting
IV Certification

Responsibilities

The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care within the perioperative program. They must work effectively within an inter-professional team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in the Day Surgery unit.

Requirements
