Original job description

Project Manager – Custom Residential Construction

Bravada Homes is looking for an experienced, organized, and proactive Project Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role that combines office-based project management with regular time on our construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland.

The Project Manager will oversee custom residential projects from pre-construction through completion, working closely with our internal team, site supervisors, trades, suppliers, consultants, and clients to keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop, maintain, and manage construction schedules
  • Coordinate trades, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and site activities
  • Work closely with and provide direction to site supervisors
  • Regularly visit active job sites to review progress, upcoming work, and priorities
  • Communicate with clients throughout construction and provide regular project updates
  • Request, review, and coordinate estimates and trade pricing
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, and cost tracking
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with designers, engineers, consultants, municipalities, and other project partners
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, deficiencies, and potential issues before they impact the project
  • Ensure trades have the information, materials, and direction needed to complete their work
  • Track outstanding items and follow through to completion
  • Support projects through inspections, deficiencies, final completion, and turnover

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is confident taking ownership of projects and comfortable balancing multiple priorities at once. You should be equally comfortable coordinating from the office, walking a job site, speaking with a homeowner, or working through an issue with a trade.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in residential construction project management or a similar construction management role
  • Experience working on custom home construction projects
  • Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and processes
  • Experience coordinating trades and managing construction schedules
  • Experience with estimating, budgeting, and cost tracking
  • Knowledge of residential permitting and municipal processes
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings
  • Strong communication and client-service skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-moving construction environment
  • Strong computer and project management software skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for site visits
  • Experience with JobTread is considered an asset

Position: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Location: South Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, and surrounding areas.

Work Environment: Combination of office and site-based work

Compensation: Competitive and based on experience

How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction outlining your residential construction and project management experience. Send to info@bravada.ca
