Original job description

We are looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to support the execution of B2B field marketing programs, events, webinars, workshops, executive events, and third-party sponsorships across Canada and targeted industry segments.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of marketing or event experience, preferably within a B2B enterprise software environment, along with strong organizational, communication, and operational skills. Experience with Google Workspace, Canva, Microsoft Excel, and Mac is required, while Asana, Marketo, Salesforce, and Swoogo experience is a plus.

The position is Canada-based, with proximity to Toronto highly preferred, and may require travel to support in-person events when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of field marketing activities across Canada and targeted industry segments.
Coordinate webinars, workshops, large-scale in-person events, executive events, and third-party sponsorships.
Own and support key marketing operations and event execution tasks.
Assist with the development and maintenance of sales enablement materials.
Support pre-event and post-event reporting, tracking, and follow-up activities.
Assist with recurring sales communications and marketing communication cadences.
Support procurement management, purchase processes, and vendor coordination.
Maintain accurate budget tracking and marketing spend records.
Document program deliverables, processes, and event activities to ensure programs are scalable and repeatable.
Collaborate closely with Field Marketing Managers, Communications teams, Sales, and other business partners.
Provide exceptional customer service and communication to internal stakeholders and business partners.
Help identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and improve marketing execution.
Support onsite event activities and travel when required.
Demonstrate eagerness to learn, adapt, take feedback, and improve existing processes.

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in marketing, field marketing, event marketing, or marketing operations.
Recent graduates with relevant marketing, event, communications, or business internships are encouraged to apply.
Experience in a B2B enterprise software or technology environment is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple marketing programs, events, deadlines, and priorities.
Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to maintain and work with complex spreadsheets.
Experience with Canva for marketing and event-related materials.
Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, sales, communications, and cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage event logistics, documentation, reporting, and operational tasks.
Willingness to travel for events when appropriate.
Located in Canada, with proximity to Toronto highly preferred.
