Bridgestar Group is a growing investment, development, construction, and property management company based in Kelowna, BC. We own and manage a portfolio of commercial, residential and development properties and are focused on building a high-performance organization that supports continued growth.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Accounting & Administration Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving systems, and playing a key role in a growing entrepreneurial organization.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting, payroll, reporting and administrative function across multiple companies.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Finance

Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages
Complete month-end reconciliations and year-end close procedures
Prepare GST, PST, payroll, and regulatory filings
Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash flow reporting, and KPI reporting

Property & Construction Accounting

Maintain rent rolls, tenant billings, receipts, and arrears tracking
Support project accounting, job costing, lender draws, and construction reporting
Track contracts, holdbacks, change orders, and project costs
Prepare property- and project-level reporting

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process invoices, payments, EFTs, and intercompany transactions
Prepare payment runs for approval
Manage customer billings and collections
Reconcile vendor, customer, bank, and credit card accounts

Payroll & Administration

Process payroll and maintain employee records
Administer benefits, vacation tracking, onboarding, and offboarding
Support office administration and corporate record management

Systems & Process Improvement

Administer QuickBooks Online, Dext, Plooto, Microsoft 365, and Yardi
Help build scalable systems to support company growth

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Accounting diploma or degree
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of full cycle accounting, financial reporting, payroll, GST, and compliance
Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

CPA designation or CPA candidate
Real estate, property management, construction, or development accounting experience
Experience with Dext, Plooto, QBO, Yardi, and Procore
Experience working with multiple entities

Requirements
