Original job description
As a Senior Product Manager at Bridgit, you'll own a product stream end to end, from customer problem to shipped outcome. You'll work as one team with design and engineering, get hands-on testing ideas yourself, and use data every day to decide what's worth building and ship it faster.
- Own your roadmap: prioritize based on business goals, customer needs, and market opportunity, and make the hard calls on what not to build.
- Builder mindset: prototype ideas yourself and test them with customers before they make it to the roadmap. Look for opportunities to support design and engineering as AI tooling continues to evolve.
- Stay close to customers: conduct research, interviews, on-site visits, and turn what you learn into product direction for your squad.
- Decide with data: use product analytics tools and raw data to find problems, size opportunities, test hypotheses, and measure what you ship.
- Work AI-first: use AI across your workflow: research synthesis, data analysis, prototyping, pressure-testing ideas, and writing specs.
- Shape the build: work through architecture and technical tradeoffs with engineers, and break big problems into valuable, releasable pieces.
- Improve how we operate: Find better ways to run discovery, planning, and delivery, and make them stick across the team.
- Know the market: Track competitors and industry shifts to find where Bridgit can lead.
- Communicate the why: explain roadmap decisions and tradeoffs to sales, customer success, leadership, and customers.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of product management in B2B SaaS, with a track record of shipping complex products with clear success metrics. Experience building AI-powered features is a strong plus.
- Build with pace, you want fast-moving work, real ownership, and visible impact. You've prototyped, shipped side projects, or worked hands-on in code or no-code tools.
- Customer-obsessed: you seek out customer conversations and can show how research changed what you built.
- Strong with data. You use data to make decisions, measure the impact of what you ship, and iterate based on what you learn. You’re comfortable digging into the numbers yourself, using tools like Mixpanel.
- AI is part of how you work, you use tools like Claude, Cursor, or similar every day and can show how they've changed your process and output.
- Technically fluent, you can discuss architecture, data models, and tradeoffs with engineers.
- A clear communicator in writing and in person, with engineers, designers, executives, and customers.
- Low ego, high standards, the best idea wins, wherever it comes from.
Bonus: hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features, or domain experience in construction, workforce management, time and attendance, HR tech, or multi-product companies.
What you need to succeed
- A drive to keep learning as our product and customers evolve
- Practical, creative problem solving
- The ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Curiosity and the ability to adapt quickly
