Responsibilities
Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements, and research production materials, costs, and methods. Develop design concepts and prototypes, prepare manufacturing drawings and specifications, analyze product use and user preferences, and produce designs using CAD and 3D printing.
Requirements
Requires a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a one- to two-year program, along with one to less than two years of experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Adobe Photoshop is listed, and applicants must have a valid driver's licence, their own vehicle and transportation, and be willing to travel and relocate.
