Key Accountabilities:

Field Personnel

Support onboarding, training, and productivity of field teams
Assist with Site Superintendent development and Field Operation meetings
Lead/attend quarterly reviews for subordinates

Preconstruction

Assess constructability of designs; support permits, procurement, and shop drawings
Participate in project review, estimating turnover, and preconstruction meetings
Help develop project budgets, logistics plans, milestones, and schedules
Support subcontracting scope development and Quality Assurance planning
Work with Estimating and Legal on remediation costs, due diligence, and claims/litigation

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Ensure HSE program and site-specific policies are implemented
Reinforce safety goals and enforcement with field teams
Support union labor management; attend foremen's meetings
Ensure collective agreements and signage SOPs are followed

Document Control

Audit Daily Work Reports, site branding, QA/QC docs, delivery slips
Report project status to Director of Field Operations
Approve weekly timesheets

LEED / Green Initiatives

Ensure sustainability initiatives are implemented per contract requirements

Corporate Responsibilities

Build industry relationships; act as Broccolini ambassador
Attend industry events; support business development
Serve as primary union liaison at field level

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent construction experience; DEC in Civil Engineering preferred
Gold Seal and NCSO certifications preferred
15+ years progressive construction supervision experience

Valid driver's license; own transportation

Principales responsabilités :

Personnel de chantier

Soutenir l'intégration, la formation et la productivité des équipes de chantier
Assister au développement des surintendants de chantier et aux réunions d'opérations chantier
Diriger/assister aux revues trimestrielles des subordonnés

Préconstruction

Évaluer la constructibilité des conceptions; soutenir les permis, l'approvisionnement et les dessins d'atelier
Participer aux réunions de revue de projet, de transfert avec l'estimation et de préconstruction
Aider à l'élaboration des budgets, plans logistiques, jalons et échéanciers de projet
Soutenir le développement de la portée des sous-traitants et la planification de l'assurance qualité
Collaborer avec l'estimation et le service juridique sur les coûts de remédiation, la diligence raisonnable et les réclamations/litiges

Santé, sécurité et environnement (SSE)

Assurer la mise en œuvre du programme SSE et des politiques spécifiques au site
Renforcer les objectifs de sécurité et leur application auprès des équipes de chantier
Enquêter sur les quasi-accidents/incidents; soutenir les inspections (MOL/CNESST)

Coordination du travail

Inspecter la qualité du travail; appliquer les mesures correctives
Auditer l'exécution des projets selon les spécifications, le budget et l'échéancier
Gérer les priorités/jalons; auditer les rapports de performance (équipement, main-d'œuvre, matériaux, coûts, qualité)
Soutenir la gestion de la main-d'œuvre syndiquée; assister aux réunions des contremaîtres
S'assurer du respect des conventions collectives et des procédures d'enseignes

Contrôle des documents

Auditer les rapports journaliers, l'image de marque du chantier, la documentation QA/QC, les bons de livraison
Présenter des rapports d'état au directeur des opérations chantier
Approuver les feuilles de temps hebdomadaires

Initiatives LEED/vertes

Assurer la mise en œuvre des initiatives de durabilité selon les exigences contractuelles
