We support clients across Western Canada with routine maintenance, turnarounds, and industrial projects. Our teams work closely with customers to develop practical solutions that meet their needs safely and reliably.

The Opportunity

Brock Canada is looking for a locally connected Business Development Manager to grow client relationships and identify opportunities across the Peace Country and Northeast BC.

You will build strong regional relationships with customers, oil and gas associations, and industry partners while working closely with sales leadership and Operations teams across Brock Canada. You will connect client needs with the services we can safely and profitably deliver, and keep communication clear between the region and corporate teams.

This is a relationship-driven role for someone with sound business judgment, integrity, and a collaborative approach. Prior experience in scaffolding or coating installation is valuable but not required. We value regional knowledge, credible follow-through, and the ability to set realistic expectations.

What You’ll Do

Develop and carry out a regional business development plan aligned with Brock Canada’s growth objectives.
Build trusted relationships with current and prospective clients, regional oil and gas associations, and industry partners across the territory.
Identify maintenance programs, turnarounds, capital projects, and other opportunities where Brock Canada’s services can add value.
Grow existing accounts while developing new client relationships and market opportunities.
Lead opportunities through the sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through proposal development, presentations, negotiations, award, and transition to Operations.
Work with sales leadership, Operations, estimating, project controls, and finance to develop solutions that are commercially sound and operationally achievable.
Coordinate with local Operations to understand labour, supervision, timing, and delivery capacity before advancing or committing to opportunities.
Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, forecasts, and reporting, and share client and market updates with the Calgary-based team.
Represent Brock Canada at client meetings, industry events, trade shows, association activities, and networking functions.
Build customer trust through clear communication, realistic commitments, and consistent follow-through.

What You’ll Bring

A proven track record in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
Strong knowledge of the Peace Country and Northeast BC business environment; an established regional network is an asset.
Experience working with clients in energy, oil and gas, industrial services, construction, maintenance, or a related sector; prior scaffolding, insulation, or coating installation experience is not required.
The ability to build credibility, understand client needs, assess opportunities, and develop practical solutions that support profitable growth.
Strong commercial judgment, including the ability to consider market potential, financial factors, strategic fit, and delivery capacity.
Clear communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to working with clients, Operations, and corporate teams.
Integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to set realistic expectations without overpromising.
A self-directed and organized approach, with the ability to manage a broad territory and multiple priorities.
Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is an asset. Equivalent experience will be considered.
A valid driver’s licence and the willingness and ability to travel regularly across the region.
