Job Description

Overview:

The Office Assistant will provide support to the Corporate Services group to aid the team with a variety of duties pertaining to the operations of the office organization and administrative tasks. The Office Assistant should be comfortable speaking confidently and professionally in an office environment with a willingness to assist the Corporate Services group with tasks and responsibilities to allow for the office to function properly.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer assistance to the team within Corporate Services with items such as:

Daily reception and lunch coverage, as well as reception vacation coverage, answering and transferring calls.
Taking messages, receiving packages, sorting and distributing incoming mail.
Monitoring shared email inboxes, coordinating kitchens, boardrooms, and office storage rooms, maintaining the coffee machine, and processing invoice coding.
Prepping paperwork for electronic scanning, scanning, filing, coding.
Learn cheque and EFT processes (secondary support).
Process the entry of vendors into Accounting systems.
Monitor all supplies for the building (back up support)

What You'll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent
Office Assistant Diploma or Certificate is an advantage
Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
