CULINARY ADMINISTRATOR

Be the next member of our growing team at Browns Restaurant Group (BRG). We are a multi-brand restaurant company developing and supporting concepts within our corporate and franchise communities. If you have a passion for culinary operations and the restaurant industry, this role is for you!

The Culinary Administrator supports Culinary Development and Operations by managing recipes, training materials, product specifications, project documentation, dashboard data, reports, and rollout packages across BRG brands. Working closely with Operations, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Development, and Training, the role coordinates approved information through development, rollout, and restaurant launch. The position serves as the department’s primary coordinator for documentation, reporting, and process management, ensuring training materials, data, and communications remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with approved Culinary direction.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Maintain accurate culinary documentation, data entry, working files, and approved archives.
Proof, standardize, and finalize recipes, training materials, and culinary documentation.
Coordinate Culinary review, approvals, and sign-off for Operations-facing content.
Build, track, and maintain product specification checks, rollout packages, and launch readiness materials.
Support the development and continuous improvement of culinary training resources and platforms.
Manage document control, versioning, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate meetings, agendas, materials, action items, and follow-up activities.
Review meeting notes, track accountabilities in Microsoft Planner, and escalate overdue actions or issues.
Maintain project trackers, decision logs, deadlines, reports, and administrative processes.
Support culinary reporting, dashboard management, cross-functional data coordination, and the preparation of weekly, quarterly, and executive summary reports.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Kitchen experience is required, with a practical understanding of commercial kitchen functions, stations, workflow, and recipe execution.
Strong data-entry, proofreading, grammar, formatting, and document-quality skills, with close attention to detail.
Ability to read, interpret, and accurately document recipes, ingredients, measurements, yields, procedures, and product specifications.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to maintain multiple files, deadlines, actions, and recurring deliverables.
Comfort working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Planner, shared files, dashboards, and training platforms, with the ability to learn new systems.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across Culinary Development, Culinary Operations, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Training, and Development.
Previous experience in culinary administration, restaurant operations support, recipe documentation, training-content coordination, or a multi-unit foodservice environment is preferred.
