From humble beginnings as a mom-and-pop shop, Browns grew to become North America's leading independent footwear retailer with over 70 stores Canada-wide. Today, we're proud to offer a top-notch selection of trending styles and exclusive collections that keep our customers coming back for more.

About the Role:

Browns Shoes is looking for an IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery, production deployment, and transition to operations of strategic technology projects. As part of the company’s business and technology transformation - including the implementation and evolution of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations at Head Office and Microsoft Commerce POS in stores - this role will play a key role in the evolution of the technology ecosystem and its project delivery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and deliver technology implementation, transformation, and optimization projects from initiation through production and transition to operations.
Partner with IT teams, business units, key users, external partners, and leadership to define requirements, scope, priorities, timelines, solutions, and deliverables.
Gather and analyze business requirements, evaluate solution options, identify impacts, and support stakeholders in making informed decisions.
Support product backlog management and prioritization, ensuring alignment between business needs, technology capabilities, and delivered value.
Manage application releases and coordinate development, testing, change management, production deployment, and post-implementation activities.
Develop, maintain, and operate CI/CD pipelines to support automated, reliable, and traceable deployments.
Ensure effective transition of solutions to IT support and operations teams and key business users, including appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer.
Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and stakeholder communications.
Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, release management, and technology implementation practices.

What we’re Looking For:

8–10+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional IT projects.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe methodologies.
Experience with backlog management, solution deployment, transition to operations, and change management.
Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
Retail experience is a strong asset.
PMP, PSM, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant certifications are a strong asset.
