Patients receive one-on-one consultations with doctors to better understand their vision and the latest advancements in eye and vision care. The practice offers a full range of options, including glasses, contact lenses, laser refractive surgery, and vision training, tailored to individual needs.

Role Description The Optometric Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. Patient Flow & Administration: Daily responsibilities include welcoming patients, managing appointment check-in and check-out, maintaining accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and coordinating appointment scheduling.
Clinical Pre-Testing: Proficient in administering diagnostic testing (OCT, Fundus Photography, Visual Fields, Autorefraction, Tonometry, Corneal Topography, Stereo Acuity, and Color Vision).
Dispensing & Sales: The role also involves guiding patients in frame and lens selection, providing basic education on eyewear care, and supporting contact lens training under the direction of the optometrist. In addition, perform frame fittings, adjustments, repairs, and returns.

The Optometric Assistant helps maintain a clean, organized clinic environment and contributes to a respectful, inclusive, and patient-centered experience.
