Reporting to the Industrial Engineering Team Lead, the Industrial Engineer will play a key role in optimizing assembly line processes. They will actively contribute to improving productivity, operational performance, and growth at the Valcourt plant through the implementation of continuous improvement solutions and innovative practices.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Optimize manufacturing processes and architecture to improve productivity and support plant growth
Analyze data and use key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, standardization, waste reduction)
Ensure manufacturing integration for new products and collaborate with Engineering to promote Design for Assembly (DFA)
Manage challenges related to product complexity, variants, and production changes
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and results-oriented skills
Solid command of Lean manufacturing tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage multidisciplinary teams
Strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement
