Original job description

We are seeking a Manager, IT Quality Assurance. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Quality and Business Process Integration, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of software quality assurance activities across the organization.

A team of QA analysts will be led by you, and close collaboration will be maintained with the development, project management, and business operations teams. Your primary mission will be to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our global enterprise systems (including major deployments such as SAP S/4HANA, our SFDC platforms such as BOSSWeb, and our internal applications) before they are released into production.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Manage and mobilize a team of 10 analysts (internal and external) distributed across Montreal, Brazil, and India.
Develop and evolve IT Quality Assurance practices at BRP, generating value through the increase and optimization of automated testing.
Drive the end-to-end testing strategy, including preparation (scripts and data), execution monitoring, and defect resolution management.
Collaborate closely with delivery managers and centres of expertise to establish test management best practices.
Manage the lifecycle of our test management platforms and systems (Tricentis qTest and Tosca).
Ensure internal controls related to the deployment of technology solutions are applied and executed.
Support the professional development and career growth of your team members.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

You are a team player who knows that nothing is possible without the team!
You have extensive experience in establishing an IT quality assurance practice and an automated testing strategy for enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
You are a skilled communicator who takes initiative, asks the right questions, and quickly resolves ambiguity.
You are pragmatic, prioritizing concrete actions and results over theory.
Familiarity with SAP and an understanding of large-scale business processes would be considered an asset.
