Introduction
Brunel is partnering with a growing specialty pharmaceutical organization to recruit a Marketing Manager supporting ophthalmology and respiratory brands. This individual will develop and execute brand, promotional and demand-generation initiatives while partnering closely with internal teams, the sales organization and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, produce, and deliver advertising and promotional initiatives that maximize marketing effectiveness.
- Create marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, posters, technical sheets, sales presentations, and selling tools.
- Identify advertising opportunities and develop campaigns and promotions that support sales growth and brand awareness.
- Develop and execute operational marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Support the evaluation of new product opportunities and contribute marketing insight to business decisions.
- Plan and coordinate sales, product-positioning, and competitive tactical training.
- Identify and analyze customer segments and develop customer-focused initiatives.
- Develop, implement and evaluate strategic marketing and sales programs for the sales force and customers.
- Develop brand forecasts and track brand performance against objectives.
- Execute integrated demand-generation programs across traditional, digital, and social media channels.
- Develop online marketing strategies and metrics to measure social media effectiveness.
- Develop and execute product launch strategies and plans for new products.
- Provide strong advertising, brand and promotional expertise, with a focus on accurate and high-quality execution.
- Support meetings and trade shows, including contact development, schedules, assignments, and customer communications.
Requirements
- University degree required.
- At least 6 to 8 years of hands-on pharmaceutical marketing experience in ophthalmology and respiratory.
- Experience marketing pharmaceuticals or medical products within hospital and healthcare settings is an asset.
- Product launch experience is required.
- Ability to translate technical and product information into training, promotional materials and effective selling tools.
- Strong ability to partner with sales teams and sales leadership to develop brand strategies.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging physicians, executives and business partners.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with social media tools and web marketing is an asset.
- Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Creative, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial and results-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
