Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs across all levels of the operation.
Review applicable legislation, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures to support ongoing compliance.
Audit the Safety Management System and recommend updates to maintain alignment with company policies and operational requirements.
Assist supervisors, forepersons, and Joint Health and Safety Committee members with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and the development of corrective actions.

Contribute to departmental and site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound ethical judgment.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in demanding operational conditions.
Safety-focused, team-oriented, and comfortable maintaining a visible presence in both surface and underground work environments.
