Training is provided, and success in this position requires a willingness to learn, strong motivation and initiative, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. This role will be required to lift up to 20kg/50lbs on a 40-50% basis.

You will be required to travel to multiple plant and site locations including Coquitlam (home base and also where Lab is located) to Surrey, Delta, Vancouver and North Vancouver.

Responsibilities

  • Collect samples of on-site production materials and outgoing customer products.
  • Support laboratory testing and analysis alongside team members to meet deadlines.
  • Clean laboratory, testing equipment, and truck.
  • Record, interpret, and report test results to management.
  • Partner with the Supervisor and team to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Balance indoor laboratory tasks with on-site fieldwork, including driving and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in construction, and laboratory materials testing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to learn and operate laboratory software and testing equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Confident and safe driving ability.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg and work comfortably at heights and on stairs.

Work Environment

  • Fast‑paced, manufacturing‑focused setting.
  • Hands‑on role with regular interaction with production teams.
