The successful candidate will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while leveraging AI-assisted development tools, multi-agent orchestration, and automated quality controls to accelerate delivery and ensure production readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production-grade Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and SOQL.
  • Build enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, middleware, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Ground AI agents in enterprise data using Salesforce Data Cloud, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs), including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and IBM watsonx.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate ambiguous requirements into functional solutions.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Agentforce Vibes, Cursor, or equivalent technologies.
  • Implement automated development workflows, code reviews, testing, accessibility validation, and security controls.
  • Establish agent evaluation frameworks, automated testing, observability, and prompt injection defenses.
  • Support deployment, release management, integration testing, troubleshooting, and post-production hypercare.
  • Develop reusable engineering patterns, agent skills, validators, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure solutions meet quality standards for security, reliability, accessibility, and maintainability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL.
  • Hands-on experience delivering at least one Salesforce Agentforce implementation, including agent security and guardrails.
  • Strong Apex development skills, including bulkification, USER_MODE security, and trigger frameworks.
  • Experience developing modern LWCs and writing Jest tests.
  • Strong integration engineering experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Named and External Credentials, Platform Events, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Salesforce CLI (sf CLI v2), source-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions or equivalent, delta deployments, and scratch orgs.
  • Hands-on LLM integration experience, including prompt engineering, grounding/RAG, structured output validation, and model routing.
  • Understanding of agentic orchestration, multi-agent systems, tool/function calling, MCP, and AI evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools and implementing human-in-the-loop review processes.
  • Knowledge of AI security practices, including prompt injection defense, data masking, audit trails, and Einstein Trust Layer controls.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering AI or automation solutions into production environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of solutions through production deployment.
  • Commitment to engineering quality, including automated testing, 85%+ code coverage, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, secure coding, and technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5–8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years on the Salesforce platform.
