Introduction

Brunel is seeking an experienced General Site Contracts Administrator to support contract execution activities on a major industrial project. This role is responsible for managing post-award contract administration, ensuring contractual compliance, supporting commercial performance, and maintaining effective relationships with contractors and project stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring strong experience administering complex contracts in mining, construction, or industrial environments and will play a key role in supporting project delivery throughout the contract lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Administer contracts following award through to completion and closeout.
Manage contract execution activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
Review, assess, and process contractor invoices, payment applications, and supporting documentation.
Support contract change management processes, including change orders, amendments, and commercial evaluations.
Manage commercial correspondence between project stakeholders and contractors.
Monitor contractor performance and support resolution of contractual and commercial issues.
Assist with claims management, dispute avoidance, and contract interpretation.
Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting.
Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout project execution.
Work closely with project, procurement, and construction teams to support successful project outcomes.

Requirements

10-15 years of contract administration experience within mining, construction, infrastructure, energy, or major industrial projects.
Strong background in post-award contract administration and contract execution.
Proven experience managing change management processes, commercial correspondence, contractor claims, invoice reviews, and contractor performance.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, commercial risk, and contract compliance.
Experience supporting large capital projects in a site-based environment.
Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with nuclear projects is considered a strong asset, particularly exposure to regulatory, compliance, and permitting requirements associated with nuclear developments.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with contractors, project teams, and senior stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in complex project environments with evolving priorities and project requirements.
