Supply Chain Management Analyst
Location: Calgary, AB
Type: 1-year contract | Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate range: $50/h – $74/h
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Contract SCM Analyst to join a dynamic Supply Chain Management team in Calgary. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving process improvements across supply chain and contractor management operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting contractor onboarding, financial reconciliations, reporting, and supply chain processes while ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Contractor Management
- Support contractor and Labour, Equipment & Materials (LEM) onboarding activities and system setup.
- Maintain accurate contractor, supplier, and supply chain records across multiple systems.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Track outstanding actions and ensure documentation requirements are completed in a timely manner.
- Support supply chain processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Analysis & Reconciliation
- Perform detailed reconciliations and investigate discrepancies related to costs, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Review purchase order balances and identify causes of invoicing or cost variances.
- Validate supporting documentation to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
- Support accurate financial reporting and operational controls.
Reporting & Data Management
- Monitor operational reports, dashboards, and data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems.
- Analyze large datasets and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, contractors, and suppliers to address business challenges.
- Communicate priorities, action items, and risks effectively.
- Build strong working relationships to support operational excellence and business performance.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience using SAP for purchase orders, invoicing, reporting, and supply chain transactions.
- Experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of contractor management and Labour, Equipment & Materials (LEM) processes.
- Experience in energy, industrial, construction, engineering, or project-based environments.
- Experience supporting supply chain operations within a large organization.
