Position: Business Analyst
Location: Toronto Canada Hybrid
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description*
- Support account hosting and end-to-end accounting flows for Deposit business
- Maintain the system of record for:
- Customer accounts
- Ledger postings
- Balance management
- Data Provisioning for Downstream Systems
- Provide reliable and timely data feeds to downstream systems, including:
- Account information (e.g., account status, product, ownership)
- Transaction information (e.g., bookings, postings, history)
- Balance information (e.g., available, ledger, intraday balances)
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and auditability
- Perform end-to-end business validation on accounting workflows, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Desired skills*
- Primary skills of accounting (GAAP/ IFRS basics, journal entries, financial controls, balance etc).
- Accounting workflows like AP, AR, GL etc
- Experience in SOX compliance

Responsibilities
Support account hosting and end-to-end accounting flows for the deposit business, maintaining customer account, ledger, and balance records. Provide accurate, timely data feeds to downstream systems and validate accounting workflows, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Requirements
The role seeks accounting knowledge, including basic GAAP or IFRS, journal entries, financial controls, and balance management. Experience with AP, AR, general ledger workflows, and SOX compliance is desired.
