Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: 8200 Dixie Road, Brampton, Ontario L6T 0C1 Onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract
JD (Key Skills Required):
strong AWS DevOps experience, particularly in CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud operations, and production support. We require a larger pool of relevant candidates to expedite evaluation and close this requirement at the earliest.
Job Description with min 200 words
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Automate build, release, and operational workflows
- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization
- Ensure cloud security, compliance, and access controls (IAM, KMS)
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive RCA
- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Ops teams for seamless releases
Required Skills:
- Strong AWS expertise (core services + architecture)
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins / GitLab CI / CodePipeline
- IaC: Terraform / CloudFormation
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS)
- Scripting: Python / Bash
- Monitoring: CloudWatch / Prometheus / Grafana
- Good understanding of networking, security, and Linux
