Position: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Montreal Canada, Onsite

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Python, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security), Hibernate, JUnit, and enterprise application development.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high- performance applications using Java-based technologies and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing, analytics, and distributed computing solutions.
• Solid experience working with DB2 databases, including data modeling, SQL optimization, query tuning, and performance management.
• Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Gradle, including automated build and deployment pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Clean Coding principles, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Proven expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and test automation using JUnit and related testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with code quality and static code analysis tools such as SonarQube, including code coverage, technical debt management, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and DevOps practices, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release management.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaboration with cross- functional teams to deliver business solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience capturing business requirements, translating them into technical
• solutions, and driving delivery from design through implementation.
