QA Functional Tester

Job Type:12 months plus
Mandatory Skills:
5+ years of QA/Functional Testing experience
Strong Functional, Integration, End-to-End & Regression Testing
Test case/scenario creation from requirements, user stories & acceptance criteria
API Testing using Postman and Swagger
UI, API and Database/SQL validation
Jira + Zephyr for test management and defect tracking
Complete defect lifecycle: logging, tracking, retesting and closure
Strong SDLC & Agile/Scrum experience
Experience with Smoke, Release & Production Validation
Good communication and collaboration with BA, PO and Development teams
Logistics / Transportation / Shipping / Supply Chain domain experience is a plus

Responsibilities
Create and execute functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, smoke, release, and production validation tests based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Test APIs and validate database results, while managing defects through logging, tracking, retesting, and closure in Jira and Zephyr.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of QA or functional testing experience, strong knowledge of testing across the software development lifecycle, and experience with Agile/Scrum. Candidates should be proficient in API testing with Postman and Swagger UI, database/SQL validation, and Jira and Zephyr; logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain experience is a plus.
