Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves hauling aggregates, asphalt, and materials to and from job sites while working closely with field crews and dispatch.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a dump truck driver
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Transfer (pup) experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of local routes and job site conditions
- Clean driving abstract
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work long hours and varying shifts as required
What You’ll Do
- Operate Class 1 dump trucks safely and efficiently
- Haul materials to job sites, plants, and yards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with dispatch, foremen, and site supervisors
- Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork
- Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations
- Assist on-site when required

Responsibilities
Operate Class 1 dump trucks safely and efficiently, hauling aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to job sites, plants, and yards. Complete vehicle inspections and paperwork, communicate with dispatch and site personnel, follow safety and traffic rules, and assist on-site when needed.
Requirements
Applicants must have a valid Class 1 driver's license, at least three years of dump truck driving experience, and a clean driving abstract. Transfer (pup) experience and local route knowledge are assets; candidates should be reliable, punctual, safety-focused, and able to work long hours and varying shifts.
