With a powerhouse eCommerce presence, a rapidly expanding retail footprint, and a strong network of waxing professionals, we’re disrupting the skincare industry in a big way.
At Bushbalm, you’ll join a fast-moving, passionate team where innovation, collaboration, and career growth go hand in hand. If you're ready to make an impact, we’d love to meet you!
Why Join Bushbalm?
- Be part of a rapidly growing and innovative skincare brand making waves in the beauty industry.
- Work in a collaborative and fun environment that values creativity and fresh ideas.
- Gain strong opportunities for career growth and professional development.
- Help expand a brand that is available in Ulta Beauty locations nationwide and 20,000+ waxing salons.
Bushbalm is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to connect consumer insight, product development and brand strategy. In this role you’ll turn consumer, professional (esthetician) and market research into clear product and brand recommendations. You’ll lead competitive analysis and help move new products through our stage-gate process, from first opportunity to launch. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll work with Product Development, Brand Marketing, Creative, Sales, Operations and Finance. Together you’ll build hero products that drive long-term growth and launches that land in every channel.
The role is a new role. It will be reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing.
The starting salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 CAD.
In This Role, You Will
- Consumer insights to strategy: Turn consumer, esthetician and market research (surveys, concept and claims testing, reviews, social listening, sales and CRM data) into actionable product and brand strategy. Build and maintain consumer and professional profiles that ground every brief and launch.
- Competitive and market analysis: Own competitive intelligence across hair removal, body care and intimate care, tracking pricing, claims, launches and positioning to find whitespace and differentiate our products.
- Stage-gate support: Build the business cases, concept briefs, consumer validation and gate presentations for each stage of product development, and keep projects on schedule.
- Claims, pricing and portfolio: Develop product claims (including clinical and results-based) and packaging copy with Regulatory. Partner with Finance and Operations on costing and pricing, and analyze core and hero product performance against limited editions.
- Positioning and messaging: Develop positioning, value propositions and product stories that show what sets each product apart. Brief Creative, Copywriting and Influencer teams to keep every campaign consistent.
- Go-to-market support: Act as the product expert for every launch. Present concepts to Channel leaders early to secure buy-in, and provide the briefs, messaging, claims, insights and product details they need to build their go-to-market plans.
- Channel enablement and education: Create sell-in tools for each channel, including retail line review decks, Amazon and DTC product pages, PRO launch kits and sales FAQs. Partner with Education and Sales on esthetician and internal training.
- Post-launch performance: Track launch results against KPIs, gather consumer and channel feedback, and recommend improvements to messaging, positioning or the portfolio.
- Product documentation: Keep product information, claims documents, messaging frameworks and templates accurate and organized.
- 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, brand management or consumer insights
- Experience turning research and data into strategic recommendations and clear presentations
- Familiarity with stage-gate or structured new product development processes
- Experience writing product briefs, positioning and claims
- Comfort working with sales, market and consumer data in Excel or Google Sheets
- A university degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Experience working with Regulatory
- Experience with Nielsen, SPINS or social listening tools
- Experience with brands that sell across several channels (DTC, retail, Amazon or professional/B2B)
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
- Flexible work environment (remote/hybrid options where applicable).
- Health and wellness benefits, including a lifestyle spending account.
- Professional development opportunities to support career growth.
- Free access to our award-winning products.
- Inclusive and dynamic company culture with team-building events
