Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. The role will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, kitting, staging, and delivering materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Reach Truck, forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment.
- Pick, pack, kit, stage, replenish, and deliver materials to production areas.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and put away inbound materials.
- Load and unload trucks/containers and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform cycle counts, bin audits, and support inventory accuracy.
- Use RF scanners and SAP for material transactions and tracking.
- Follow FIFO, 5S, Lean, PPE, and EHS/safety requirements.
- Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, damages, and delivery delays.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse/work areas.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience operating a Reach Truck/Forklift preferred.
- Valid forklift/Reach Truck certification is an asset, not mandatory.
- SAP, RF scanner, or warehouse management system experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork, communication, reliability, and safety awareness.
