Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: 215 Garry Street, Winnipeg (Onsite)
Duration: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support complex IT projects through business process analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or equivalent
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience
- 5+ years in Process Analysis and Re-engineering
- 5+ years in Requirements Gathering, Use Cases, and User Stories
- 5+ years working in Agile environments
- Strong political acumen and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, consulting, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into clear documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead stakeholder workshops and document business requirements
- Analyze current and future-state processes and identify improvements
- Develop business cases, functional specifications, and user stories
- Conduct impact analysis and support testing, quality assurance, and end-user training
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and government organizations
- Support process re-engineering and technology-driven improvements
Nice to Have:
- IIBA accreditation
- Knowledge of BABOK
