THE OPPORTUNITY
BVGlazing Systems is seeking a Production Scheduler / Coordinator to support the planning and coordination of manufacturing operations in a fast-paced window, glass, and railing production environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Scheduler / Coordinator will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Project Management, and Sales teams to coordinate production schedules, track order progress, maintain manufacturing documentation, and support efficient workflow management. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer orders are produced on time, materials are available when needed, and communication between departments remains clear and effective to support on-time delivery and operational excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules.
- Coordinate and prioritize manufacturing orders based on customer requirements, production capacity, and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production progress and update schedules as needed.
- Track orders from release to production through completion and delivery.
- Communicate scheduling updates and production status to internal departments.
- Review work orders, specifications, and production documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure materials and components are available for scheduled production.
- Identify and communicate material shortages or production delays.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and scheduling data.
- Follow up with production teams to ensure schedules are achieved.
- Liaise with Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Installation teams.
- Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and production-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Participate in production meetings and provide status updates on active projects.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Diploma, certificate, or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, production scheduling, logistics, operations, or administrative coordination.
- Experience in the windows, glass, railing, or construction manufacturing industry is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or production management software is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows preferred.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented approach.
Salary Range
$55,000 – $65,000 CAD
