Original job description

CNIK Property Services | Vaughan, Woodbridge, Maple & surrounding areas Part-time | Independent route work | Opportunities to grow.

CNIK Property Services is looking for a dependable, experienced person to take ownership of a residential lawn-care and snow-removal route.

If you enjoy working outdoors, seeing the results of your work and having the independence to get the job done, we’d like to hear from you.

Why join C•NIK?

We’re a growing local business where your contribution matters. You’ll work directly with the owner, have clear expectations and have the opportunity to help shape how we grow.

We want to build a lasting working relationship with someone who takes pride in their work. Strong performance deserves recognition, and our goal is to reward reliability, quality and initiative through regular feedback, performance bonuses and wage increases.

You bring the skill and effort. We provide company equipment, organized routes and reimbursement for approved business fuel and the agreed additional vehicle insurance cost.

What we offer

  • Starting wage of $25/hour.
  • Frequent performance reviews, with opportunities for bonuses and wage increases as you demonstrate consistent results and take on responsibility. Bonuses and increases are discretionary.
  • 4% vacation pay, increasing as required by Ontario employment standards, plus vacation time in accordance with those standards. With your electronic agreement, vacation pay is paid separately on each cheque.
  • Company equipment for assigned work.
  • Approved business fuel reimbursement based on business-kilometre records and receipts.
  • Reimbursement for the agreed, documented additional insurance premium required to use your vehicle for CNIK work.
  • Opportunities for additional hours and responsibility as the business grows.

This Role's Responsibilities

  • Lawn mowing, trimming and blowing off walkways and driveways.
  • Spring and fall cleanups, including raking, bagging and loading debris.
  • Driveway and walkway snow removal using a snowblower and shovel.
  • Safely transporting company equipment between properties.
  • Keeping equipment clean and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Sending brief updates and completion photos by text

What we’re looking for

  • Experience operating lawn-care equipment; snowblower experience is an asset.
  • Someone who can complete a route independently and maintain consistent quality.
  • A valid Ontario driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle suitable for safely transporting the equipment assigned to your route.
  • Insurance that specifically permits the actual work-related vehicle use, including equipment transport. The additional premium reimbursement will be agreed before you start.
  • Reliable communication, punctuality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties safely, with accommodation where required.

Schedule

Hours depend on booked work and weather.

Availability is needed for scheduled weekday and weekend shifts.

Weekly schedules are issued Thursday for the following Monday–Sunday week, with weather-related changes communicated by text.

Snow work may include early mornings, evenings or overnight shifts; availability and response expectations will be agreed in advance.
