Original job description

CaaB is a cloud infrastructure provider offering simple, flexible IaaS solutions for MSPs, resellers, and technology partners.

We are looking for a proven Account Executive who can prospect, build partner relationships, create opportunities, and close new business.

This is a sales role first. Deep technical experience is not required. The right person must be able to learn the solution, understand partner challenges, and clearly explain how CaaB can help.

This is a hybrid sales role based in the Greater Toronto Area. The position will combine field sales throughout the GTA, two to three days per week in the office, and phone-based prospecting and sales activity with MSPs and technology partners across the United States.

What You’ll Do

Prospect and develop new MSP and reseller partner opportunities in Canada and the U.S.

Conduct outbound phone prospecting with prospective partners across the United States

Meet with prospects and partners in person throughout the Greater Toronto Area

Build relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and sales leaders

Lead discovery calls and meetings to understand partner needs, pain points, and business goals

Present CaaB’s value proposition clearly and confidently

Manage opportunities from first conversation through close

Negotiate and close new partner business

Maintain strong follow-up and accurate pipeline activity

Work with internal technical, support, and leadership teams as needed

Required Experience and Skills

Proven sales experience in an Account Executive, business development, or similar role

Proven ability to close deals and move opportunities from qualified stage to closed business

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Comfortable with outbound prospecting and creating new opportunities

Strong closing ability and confidence asking for the business

Comfortable selling both over the phone and in person

Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills

Organized, reliable, and able to manage a sales pipeline independently

Motivated, coachable, and comfortable working in a hybrid sales environment

Helpful Experience

Experience in any of the following is an asset, but not required:

MSP, reseller, VAR, or channel sales

Technology, cloud, infrastructure, hosting, backup, cybersecurity, telecom, SaaS, or IT services sales

Selling to business owners, IT providers, or technical decision-makers

Role Details

Full-time

Hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto Area

Two to three days per week in the office

Field sales and partner meetings throughout the GTA

Phone prospecting and sales activity with prospects across the United States

Base salary plus performance incentives

Local travel throughout the GTA and occasional additional travel may be required
