Account Manager

Location: Winnipeg, MB (2150 Logan Ave)

Cadorath is a family‑owned Canadian company founded in 1954, specializing in manufacturing, repairing, and enhancing critical component parts for the aviation, agriculture, industrial, mining, and oil & gas sectors. With facilities in Canada and the U.S., we support customers ranging from local operators to major global OEMs. Our capabilities include precision manufacturing, aerospace engine and component repair and overhaul, auger manufacturing, and a wide range of advanced metal finishing and special processes.

Position Summary

The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned OEM customers, including CNH and John Deere, and is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience from order receipt through delivery. This role works closely with customers and internal departments to coordinate orders, resolve issues, communicate updates, and ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time.

The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role requiring daily interaction with customers, production, quality, logistics, procurement, and administration teams to support account activity and maintain strong customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

Customer Account Management

Serve as the primary contact for assigned OEM customer accounts, responding to inquiries and providing timely updates.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers through responsive communication and reliable support.
Act as the customer's advocate by coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues and address concerns.
Document customer interactions and account activity within Salesforce CRM.
Conduct regular customer touchpoints to review open items, production schedules, delivery commitments, and ongoing requirements.
Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve service and customer satisfaction.

Order & Account Coordination

Manage the customer order lifecycle from order placement through production and delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements, schedules, and changes are communicated accurately and acted upon promptly.
Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers.
Coordinate expedited orders and delivery requirements as needed.
Ensure customer-required documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Maintain customer files, records, and account documentation according to company standards.
Maintain and update Rolling Action Item Lists (RAILs) for assigned accounts daily.
Support customer portal management and ensure information remains current and accurate.
Coordinate engineering revisions, PPAP submissions and related customer requirements with Quality Assurance and internal departments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Production Planning and Scheduling to align customer requirements with manufacturing capacity.
Collaborate with Procurement and Commodity Management regarding material availability and customer requirements.
Coordinate with Logistics to ensure products are shipped accurately and on schedule.
Partner with Quality Assurance to address customer complaints, returns, warranty concerns, and corrective actions.
Support new product introductions by coordinating account requirements across internal teams.
Participate in regular internal meetings to review customer priorities, schedules, and open issues.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Required

Fluency in English, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
3-5 years of experience in account management, customer service, order management, customer support, or a related role.
Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations-focused environment is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and competing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using ERP systems, CRM platforms, or customer management software.

Preferred

Experience supporting OEM or industrial customers.
Experience coordinating customer orders, production schedules, and delivery requirements.
Familiarity with quality documentation, engineering changes, customer portals, or manufacturing processes.
Salesforce experience an asset.
Familiarity with steel grades, specifications, and manufacturing processes is a strong asset.
