Role Description The Senior Information Technology Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end IT projects, including defining scope, creating project plans, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating cross-functional resources. The Senior Project Manager will oversee program-level initiatives, monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure projects align with business objectives and client expectations. Daily activities include stakeholder communication, status reporting, vendor and partner coordination, and facilitating decision-making to keep projects on track. The role also involves mentoring junior project managers, contributing to process improvement, and supporting continuous enhancement of Cakes Technology’s project delivery standards.

- Relevant skills such as leadership, team management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution are highly beneficial.
- Experience with common project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, MS Project, Jira) is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, and professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2, are considered strong assets.
- Prior experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects in a client-facing environment is highly desirable.
