Original job description

Are you a bright, enthusiastic individual looking for a fantastic summer opportunity? Do you enjoy meeting new people and have a knack for detail? If so, Caldek Sundeck Systems wants you to join our team as a Seasonal Duradek Estimator! For over 50 years, Caldek Sundeck Systems has been Calgary's trusted expert in transforming outdoor spaces with high-quality Duradek™ vinyl waterproofing solutions. As the exclusive supplier and installer of Duradek™ in Calgary, we pride ourselves on our expertise, our team, and our commitment to customer satisfaction. We're a family-minded business that values our employees and believes in creating a supportive and fun work environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join us for the summer season as a full-time Duradek Estimator. This role is perfect for a student in business, construction, or a related field looking to gain valuable experience and earn great summer income. While an interest in construction is helpful, we are truly looking for someone with exceptional people skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a keen eye for detail – the Duradek knowledge we can teach! Bonus Potential: Opportunity to earn additional income through department bonuses for meeting sales targets. Company Perks: Electric company car provided for work use. Company phone for use with our systems and estimating programs. Paid lunch hours. Valuable Experience: Gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, customer service, and business operations – all in a non-labour-intensive role. Supportive Team Environment: Be part of a company that values its employees and fosters a positive and collaborative work atmosphere. You'll be working closely with our experienced Sales Manager and General Manager.

Drive company electric car to various sites; responsible for vehicle upkeep.
Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships.
Visually inspect decks and note conditions.
Take detailed notes, measurements, and potentially photos of sites using company systems.
Communicate consistently and clearly with the Sales Manager.
18+ years of age.
Valid Alberta driver's license.
Clean driver's abstract (no previous record).
Construction or sales experience is a bonus but not required.
Enjoys interacting with people and builds rapport easily.
Responsible, self-motivated, and can work independently.
Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Values clear and honest communication.
Team player and willing to learn.

Send your resume and a detailed message toStrong candidates will be contacted without delay.
