Salary: Band 11 ($135,954.00)

Status: Full-time term (3 year & 4 year Terms), Unionized

Work environment: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH). Employees must be available to work in the office up to five (5) days per week when required to support business priorities.

WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE

The Infrastructure Team is a dynamic and collaborative team responsible for designing and building everything at both Calgary International and Springbank Airports. We take pride in delivering high-quality projects that shape the airport experience, and we do it in a fast-paced, engaging environment. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop comprehensive project charters (including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation) and provide ongoing progress reporting to internal clients, supervisors, and stakeholders.
Lead design, status, and technical review meetings to support project planning and execution.
Act as the central point of contact for all information distribution regarding a project including extensive communication with the numerous project partners and participants (i.e. regulatory agencies, government, emergency services and internal departments) that may be affected by specific project activities.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including operations teams, regulatory bodies, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
Identify potential risks during project charter phase and implement risk management plans to minimize their impact. Monitor project schedules, estimate design and construction durations, and set and communicate key milestones.
Responsible for the management of all costs on individual projects and all elements within a project including establishing project budgets, tracking and updating project costs, and forecasting monthly cash flows for each project.
Participate in the development and planning of the Annual Capital Program, with a focus on the physical restoration or expansion of facilities at both airports.
Plan, organize and deliver the activities related to Construction Tenders through collaborative work with the Supply Chain and Accounting departments.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

You’ll need to be eligible to obtain and maintain a RAIC, don’t worry – we’ll help you through this! For more details, check out: RAIC Program and Application Information
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related Construction/Engineering discipline is required. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
8+ years of hands‑on experience independently managing large scale construction or infrastructure projects of moderate complexity, with decision making authority for delivery, cost and risk.
Professional designation such as P. Eng. AAA or PMP is required.
Proven track record of successfully managing the delivery of construction or infrastructure projects - typically ranging from mid‑sized to large capital projects valued up to $10M.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
As this position is considered safety-sensitive, candidates must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
This role includes driving as part of its duties; therefore, candidates will be required to provide a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a current driver’s abstract as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities
