MWS is an inpatient unit that provides care to clients with severe and complex substance use disorders, underlying mental health problems, and physical illnesses. Clients are mostly voluntary and come to the unit to work on their recovery goals in a safe, controlled, collaborative setting. Familiarity with clinical care and issues specific to mental health and addictions settings is required. You will have the ability to work with clients, teams and stakeholders from diverse ethno-racial and cultural backgrounds and demonstrate high levels of sensitivity and diplomacy.
