Can-Seed Equipment is looking for a proven B2B sales professional who wants more than another sales job. We are looking for a self-driven, competitive Territory Manager who can build long-term customer relationships, understand how a customer's operation makes money, uncover problems and opportunities, and work with our technical team to develop the right solution.

This role is suited to someone who already knows how to sell. We can teach our equipment, suppliers, applications and industry knowledge; we are not looking to teach someone the fundamentals of prospecting, relationship building, follow-up and closing.

What You Will Own

Plan routes, prospecting, customer visits and opportunity priorities.

Build new relationships and grow existing accounts.

Maintain a live, accurate CRM pipeline with notes, next steps, owners and dates.

Continuously add qualified opportunities while advancing existing projects.

Gather the business and technical information required for the correct solution.

Work with senior sales, engineering and manufacturers on complex applications.

Prepare, present and follow up on budgetary and firm quotations.

Know your target, close rate, quoted dollars and activity requirements.

Learn from wins and losses and apply the lessons.

Protect the relationship after the order by ensuring Can-Seed delivers what was promised.

Who We Are Looking For

Proven B2B sales success, including prospecting and closing.

Self-driven and comfortable managing a geographic territory.

Competitive and motivated by meaningful sales and income goals.

Valuable Experience

Experience in grain handling, seed or pulse processing, grain storage, drying, industrial or agricultural equipment, automation, manufacturing, material handling or another technical B2B sales environment is valuable. Direct Can-Seed product knowledge is not required.

Development & Accountability

Weekly one-on-one coaching during the first year.

Strategic ride-alongs with senior salespeople.

Supplier and manufacturer training.

Structured product manuals and field learning.

Three-level technical certification by supplier/product family with an 80% competency standard.

Monday 8:00 AM weekly sales update covering prior commitments/results and the upcoming plan.

Compensation & Career

This role is designed for high performers. Compensation is performance-driven, with significant upside for Territory Managers who consistently create value and produce results. Specific compensation, benefits, territory and travel arrangements will be discussed with qualified candidates.
