Banquet Server

About the Opportunity

Canad Inns is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Banquet Servers.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hospitality experience, working in a team-oriented environment, and supporting a variety of banquets, celebrations, and special events.
Previous banquet experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided to successful candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, and service areas for events.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  
• Carry banquet trays and assist with food service.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout events.
• Support the banquet team with event setup and breakdown.
• Follow food safety, workplace safety, and customer service standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to safely carry heavy banquet trays and perform physical duties, including standing and walking for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
• Previous serving, banquet, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.
  

Schedule and Work Locations

• Work schedules will vary based on event bookings and operational needs.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
• Opportunities may be available at multiple Canad Inns banquet locations.

Training Provided
Successful candidates will receive approximately 4–6 hours of banquet service training to help prepare them for their responsibilities.
