Master Data Analyst

Spartan is seeking an individual to fulfill the responsibilities of a Master Data Analyst to join the Finance & Accounting team. This role is primarily responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Masterfile data within QByte and will act as a liaison between the groups responsible for each dataset.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in our downtown Calgary location.

What You Will Do

Maintain Masterfile data in Qbyte related to key infrastructure, including cost centres, Authorizations for Expenditures (AFEs), Divisions of Interest (DOIs), allocations, legal locations, and other similar structures.
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance master data processes, improving efficiency, reducing manual effort and increasing data quality.
Investigate master data issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
Run Qbyte month-end processes and ensure the integrity and accuracy of related data.
Complete special projects and maintain master well lists, coding structures, reference tables, and other master data records as required.

Who You Are

Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting would be considered an asset.
Minimum 7-10 years of master data experience is required.
Working knowledge of EASC, CAPLA and PJVA Agreements.
Proficient use in Qbyte FM, EnergyLink, OpenInvoice, MS Excel, SharePoint and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and dynamic work environment.
