The Enterprise Data & Analytics team is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Analyst to help advance the organization's data management and governance capabilities. This role applies industry-leading data management practices aligned with DAMA-DMBOK principles, including data governance, data modeling, metadata management, master data management, data quality, and business glossary management. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define and manage enterprise data assets, develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, establish common business definitions and standards, and ensure data is trusted, discoverable, and fit for consumption across operational, analytical, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions. This role is best suited for professionals with a strong foundation in enterprise data management rather than report or dashboard development.

Key Accountabilities
- Enterprise Data Management & Governance: Apply DAMA-DMBOK aligned practices across data governance, metadata management, data quality, master and reference data management, and enterprise data architecture. Partner with business and technology teams to establish data standards, stewardship practices, and governance processes
- Data Modeling & Information Architecture: Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models representing enterprise business capabilities, master data domains, reference data, and transactional processes. Develop reusable information structures that support operational, analytical, reporting, AI/ML, and knowledge management initiatives
- Metadata & Business Definition Management: Develop and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards, lineage documentation, and authoritative business definitions to ensure enterprise data assets are trusted, discoverable, and well understood
- Data Analysis, Integration & Quality Management: Profile and analyze data, document business rules and lineage, design data mappings, resolve data issues through root cause analysis, and support enterprise data quality and master data management initiatives
- Stakeholder Engagement & Data Stewardship: Collaborate with business data owners, stewards, architects, and technology teams to translate business requirements into enterprise data solutions, facilitate governance decisions, and promote accountable data stewardship
- Continuous Improvement & Project Delivery: Recommend enhancements to enterprise data management processes, governance capabilities, and information architecture practices while participating in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities and staying current with industry best practices.
What You Bring To The Role
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Data Management, or a related discipline; CDMP designation preferred
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, master data management, data modeling, or information architecture
- Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK principles, including data governance, metadata management, data quality, and master/reference data management
- Demonstrated expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, enterprise information modeling, business glossaries, metadata management, and data lineage
- Strong SQL, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business concepts into enterprise data solutions; Oil & Gas experience is an asset
