What You’ll Do:

Financial Governance & Executive Reporting (Primary Focus)

Consolidate Opex and project spend across all BP portfolios; compare actuals to monthly and quarterly snapshots.
Validate AVP/DPM variance explanations against GL, Planview, forecasts, and budget trackers; build executive presentations by portfolio.
Produce executive-ready reporting that highlights business impact (“so what”) for SVP/VP review.

CoE Budgeting & Forecasting

Track spend versus allotment by portfolio; forecast off all active SOWs and accruals.
Ensure invoices are paid on time and fully accrued; reconcile to actuals to improve forecast accuracy.
Support accruals, forecasting, and variance explanations; assist FP&A with quarterly Opex forecasting.

Contract Management Governance

Support timely approval and governance of all BP contracts; prepare executive summaries with Planview budget/forecast.
Coordinate weekly SVP/AVP approval meetings and ensure each contract is executive-ready before review.

BP Offboarding

Track all contractors across partner contracts (project, start/end dates, company, manager, rate).
Automate offboarding triggers so reporting managers are notified two weeks before each contractor’s end date.

Team Support – Oversight, Governance & Reporting

Provide shared, dependable support across the CoE team with coordination, preparation, tracking, and follow-through.
Support the decision and action framework across senior stakeholders; maintain the BP action tracker and follow up on open items.
Help prepare decision-first SteerCo materials, executive pre-reads, and escalation summaries; take on ad-hoc coordination to keep the operating cadence on track.

What You Bring:

Seasoned professional with solid financial analysis / FP&A depth; comfortable with GL, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis.
Experience with Planview (or equivalent) and executive financial reporting.
Governance / PMO exposure; a reliable, trusted support across a team who can manage multiple senior stakeholders.
Strong communication and reporting skills; proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and dashboarding (e.g., Power BI).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, proactive, and discreet.
Values steady, meaningful work, builds durable institutional knowledge, and is committed to growing with the team.

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid: In-office 4 days a week)

Broadband Salary Range: $53,000 – $88,000.
Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
