Experience: 1 year preferred

Experience Level: Entry-Level

About Us

CW Impact Commercial Cleaning is a growing Canadian company providing professional commercial cleaning services across multiple provinces, including Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia.

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and ambitious Business Administrative Coordinator to join our Calgary team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on business experience, work closely with management, and build a long-term career within a growing organization.

About the Role

As a Business Administrative Coordinator, you will work directly alongside our Operations Manager, supporting daily business activities while collaborating with multiple departments across the organization.

This is a cross-functional position that offers exposure to various aspects of business operations, including administration, scheduling, employee coordination, internal communications, and operational processes.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and has a strong drive for personal and professional growth.

This role goes beyond traditional administrative responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to develop your business knowledge, strengthen your organizational and leadership skills, and gradually take on greater responsibilities.

For the right candidate, this position offers a potential pathway toward operations management and future leadership opportunities within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Operations Manager to support daily business operations and administrative activities.
Provide cross-functional administrative support to multiple departments within the organization.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, schedules, and internal communications.
Manage incoming emails, phone calls, and general inquiries professionally.
Maintain accurate company records, spreadsheets, reports, and documentation.
Assist with employee onboarding, scheduling, and internal coordination.
Support operational planning, project tracking, and day-to-day business activities.
Communicate with management and team members to ensure efficient workflows.
Assist with organizing company files, preparing documents, and maintaining office systems.
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, organization, and overall efficiency.
Support special projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Develop an understanding of business operations and management processes through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

Approximately 1 year of experience in administration, customer service, office coordination, business operations, or a related field preferred.
Post-secondary education in business administration, management, or a related field is an asset but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working across departments and adapting to changing business needs.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Professional, dependable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to learn new software, systems, and business processes.
A genuine interest in business operations, professional development, and long-term career growth.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate demonstrates:

Drive for Growth: Motivated to continuously learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Enjoys working with different departments, supporting team members, and contributing to shared business goals.
Initiative and Ownership: Proactively identifies tasks, solves problems, and takes responsibility for their work.
Adaptability: Comfortable wearing multiple hats and adjusting to changing priorities in a growing company.
Strong Organization: Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Long-Term Career Interest: Interested in developing professionally and pursuing future opportunities within the organization.
Positive Attitude: Approachable, dependable, and willing to contribute wherever support is needed.

We value potential, motivation, and a strong work ethic. Extensive administrative experience is not required, as training and guidance will be provided.

What We Offer

Competitive hourly compensation of $18.00–$22.00, based on experience and qualifications.
Direct mentorship and hands-on training from our Operations Manager.
Valuable cross-functional experience across multiple departments.
Opportunities to develop administrative, operational, and leadership skills.
Exposure to real business operations and decision-making processes.
Increasing responsibilities as you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities.
Potential for career advancement into operations management and leadership positions.
A collaborative, supportive, and professional work environment.
The opportunity to contribute to a growing Canadian company.

Career Growth & Development

At CW Impact, we believe in investing in our employees and developing talent from within.

This position is designed for someone who wants to do more than complete day-to-day administrative tasks. You will gain practical experience working alongside management, develop an understanding of how different departments operate, and build the skills needed to take on greater responsibilities.

Through mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on learning, you will have opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop professionally.

Our goal is to find someone who wants to grow with the company, with the potential to progress into an operations management position based on performance, professional development, and business needs.
